Terms and conditions

From 11am. Arrive early- booked tables will be given up after 15 minutes of no one showing. 1.5 hour booking begins when the first person of the table has arrived. Please drink responsibly- management reserves the right to refuse service as per licensing laws. A deposit of £10 per head will be required before booking. Upon confirmed date, time and guest number from us, a payment link will be sent via SMS which must be paid to secure the reservation. The deposit is non-refundable without 72 hours notice of cancellation before the reservation start date.

Big shot margate is a fun and flexible licensed venue for hire, right on the sea front with fantastic views and a prime location.

The venue is set over two floors (ground and basement) with outside tables on the pavement of Marine Drive, overlooking the main sands, steps and harbour- delivering some incredible sunset views.

We have held a range of event types including-

• Birthday parties

• Basement karaoke

• Intimate live music, shows and performances

• DJ evenings

• Clubs and group meets

• Supper clubs and food and drink pop-ups

Ground floor- 4 x speakers which can deliver enough volume to dance to. Dimmable ceiling and ambient lighting.

Basement- 2 x speakers with a 500w amp. 12” PA speaker with 2 x microphones.

There are colour neon lighting options, smoke machine and lasers which can be used throughout the venue. We have a DJ booth area available in the basement, but a controller or decks will need to be provided.

License

We can open 9am-11pm and serve alcohol from 11am-10.45pm. We can extend our licensed hours with at least 2 weeks notice.

Food and drink

We can provide food tailored to your event. For seated events we usually use a relaxed sharing plate format. Get in touch to see our current menu.

We take our cocktails as seriously as our coffee and take pride in producing the classics well. We also have a changing range of craft beer, wine and low/no ABV options.
